Prairie Blues™ Royal Purple baptisia is a hybrid cultivar introduced through the Chicagoland Grows Program.  Selected for its bloom production, color, habit, and plant size.  Royal Purple is believed to be the darkest, richest purple baptisia on the market. We love it for its large blooms and vigorous growth. Fellow flower farmers have reported 60+ flower stems on mature plants. Propagation of this plant is prohibited without a license.

HARVEST: Harvest in the early morning, when 1/3 of the flowers are open. Vase life of 7-10 days when placed in hydrating solution post-harvest. Warm water in the bucket is especially recommended.
