Lemon Bush Eucalyptus has a soft citrus scent which makes it wonderful for bouquets. This is the willow leaf type eucalyptus which is ever popular in wedding work. Leaves reach 3-5" held by medium strong stems. Fast growing. Leaf tips and stems will turn soft red later in the season when exposed to cooler weather. Tender perennial in areas with no frost. In areas with cold winter weather, we have had reports of several growers overwintering plants in hoop houses or growing in planters that are brought inside for the winter. When planting in the ground, black ground cover is recommended in areas with a short growing season.
